Aptuit (Greenwich, CT) announced the appointment of Jonathan Goldman, MD, as Chief Executive Officer, completing the company’s senior management leadership team.
Rho (Chapel Hill, NC) announced the appointment of Kristen Harrington, Principal Programmer/Analyist, Rho, as the 2016 Conference Chair and member of the Executive Committee for the Southeastern SAS User’s Group (SESUG). SESUG is a Regional Users Group for users of SAS software.
Celerion (Lincoln, NE) announced the appointment of John Horkulak as Executive Director, Eurasian Site Operations. Horkulak will lead the efforts to further expand the company’s early phase patient capabilities in Europe and Asia.
CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services (Cincinnati, OH) announced the addition of David Facklam, MS, as Senior Director, Regulatory and Scientific Affairs. CTI also announced the promotion of William Aronstein, PhD, MD, FACP, to Vice President, Medical Affairs.

INC Research (Beijing, China) announced three key management appointments to enhance its growing presence and clinical R&D team in Japan. Hiromi Wakita, PhD, has joined as General Manager and Clinical Director, and will lead the company’s operations in Japan. Hiroshi Uoji was appointed Regulatory and Safety Director for Japan, and Shinichi Sato, who joined as Project Director, CNS Clinical Development in Japan.
ERT (Philadelphia, PA) announced the expansion to its cardiac safety, respiratory, and Clinical Outcome Assessment/electronic COA consulting group with the addition of Matthew Reaney, Scientific and Regulatory Consultant.
ICON plc (Dublin, Ireland) announced the addition of Steve Cutler, PhD, as Chief Operating Officer. Within Cutler’s team, Nuala Murphy, PhD, has been appointed President, ICON Clinical Services, and Jim Miskel has been appointed Executive Vice President & General Manager, ICON Laboratory Services. Icon also announced the election of Chief Executive, Ciaran Murray, as Chairman of the Association of Clinical Research Organizations.

Clinical Research Advantage (CRA) (Tempe, AZ) announced that three company departments received national recognition in the 2013 Best in Biz Awards. CRA’s Business Development department received the Silver Award for Business Development Department of the Year. CRA’s Technology Department received the Bronze Award for Technology Department of the Year. And CRA’s Finance Department received the Silver Best in Biz Award for Finance Department of the year.
