Event overview

In this open and engaging discussion, decentralized clinical trial (DCT) industry veterans react about industry advances as they relate to the incorporation of mobile visits into DCTs. Craig Lipset will share his early days at Pfizer at the dawn of the DCT movement and his early support of the model, and the challenges and barriers he faced. Deb will then report on her role and responsibilities working with teams to effectively incorporate mobile visits into study protocols. Then, together with facilitator Ellen Weiss, the group will imagine the future of mobile research within the DCT ecosystem.

Key Learning Objectives

  • Learn the genesis and evolution of the DCT movement
  • Compare past successes and challenges of DCTs with successes and challenges of today
  • Understand the value of DCTs in today's research landscape

Who Should Attend

  • Those who work at CROs (Contract Research Organizations) or drug sponsor companies
  • Clinical Data Managers or Directors of Biostatistics and Data Management
  • Senior Executives (eg. VP, SVP) in Clinical Development or Strategy
  • Clinical Operations and Project Management
  • Principal Investigators (PIs)
