Oracle has announced its Oracle Clinical Development Analytics, a component of a larger suite of business intelligence solutions that span clinical development, pre- and post-marketing surveillance and health care, which are designed to provide insights for more informed decision making.
Built on the Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition Plus, Oracle Clinical Development Analytics is intended to assist life sciences organizations deliver actionable, near real-time insights across the clinical development process, including both active and previously completed trials.

The application can help accelerate study progress and makes it possible for companies to achieve database lock faster. It helps make it easier to identify non-performing sites and enables greater transparency between sponsors and CROs.
With the application’s pre-built clinical warehouse and ad-hoc report builder help end users to build their own reports based on pre-calculated metrics. The centralized warehousing architecture can help to more effectively control IT costs by eliminating the need for multiple, disparate reporting systems.
