Fort Lauderdale, FL, July 25, 2018 - OmniComm Systems, Inc. (OTCQX: OMCM), a leading global provider of patient-centric, clinical data management technology, has launched a new subsidiary called OmniComm eClinical Solutions Pvt. Ltd., and established an office in Bengaluru, India. The creation of the subsidiary follows OmniComm’s recent acquisition of the Acuity advanced clinical analytics platform from Algorics, a transaction completed this past February.
Employees of the new office will continue to develop and support Acuity Analytics, a powerful platform for managing risk-based monitoring, clinical operations, data aggregation and patient data analytics. Located in the IT corridor of Bengaluru, OmniComm’s new office offers a contemporary facility for the current staff, with ample capacity for future expansion, as the need arises.
“The establishment of the Bengaluru office and subsidiary allows OmniComm to bring a talented team of software development, quality assurance and project delivery personnel to OmniComm. Our new coworkers have extensive experience and knowledge in pharmaceutical and clinical data technologies, and the practices required to deliver regulatory compliant software,” said Ken Light, executive vice president of Corporate Strategy for OmniComm. “Over time, we plan to leverage this office to expand our global support capabilities, especially for our growing customer and user base in Asia.”
In addition to Acuity Analytics, OmniComm has a line of eClinical solutions used by life science organizations around the world, including TrialMaster® EDC, AutoEncoder, IRTMaster randomization technology and TrialOne®, an early-phase eSource and automation solution.
“We are very pleased to become part of OmniComm Systems through the new subsidiary in India. Our companies share the same culture and commitment to serving our customers and supporting their goals through innovative technologies and highly specialized expertise. Together, we now offer our customers end-to-end data capabilities and increased access to resources that support OmniComm’s global expansion strategy,” said Nithiya Ananthakrishnan, co-founder of Algorics and now senior vice president of Data Sciences at OmniComm.
