Basel, Switzerland – Clinerion is releasing a new version of its Patient Recruitment System (PRS), adding speed, a library of protocol statements, collaboration tools and an updated look-and-feel. New in Version 4 of PRS is the Collaboration feature, which allows multiple users to access the same protocol at the same time. Users of the Protocol Designer tool have visibility on who the other users are, can transfer edit rights from user to user and can see the current editor’s changes live and instantaneously. PRS Version 4 also includes a new “Criteria Library” search function in the Protocol Designer tool which supports the coding of protocols by giving users access to an archive of query statements from previous protocols. This helps users with best practices for coding protocol criteria. Version 4 also allows manual candidate addition in Patient Finder. The new version also adds a few under-the-bonnet improvements. Patient count numbers at each line of the Protocol Designer tool are updated even quicker than before. The look-and-feel of Protocol Designer has been revamped for a better user experience. Clinerion’s Patient Recruitment System searches the electronic health record databases of connected hospitals for eligible candidates for clinical trials, by checking the individual records against entered protocols. “Patient Recruitment System is mature, stable and productive,” says Andreas Walter, Chief Technology Officer of Clinerion. “We are working hard to bring even more new technology solutions to it, and to improve the user experience.” “Patient Recruitment System is already the leading solution for patient identification for clinical trials,” says Ulf Claesson, CEO of Clinerion. “I am pleased that the launch of Version 4 makes it even more useful and supportive of the needs of our users.” For more on Clinerion’s Patient Recruitment System: www.clinerion.com/index/OverviewOurSolutions/PatientRecruitmentSystem About Clinerion Clinerion is an international technology services company offering highly scalable electronic patient recruitment solutions to increase efficiency and quality in clinical research. Behind the Buzz: Why Clinical Research Leaders Flock to SCOPE Summit
February 7th 2025In this episode, we meet with Micah Lieberman, Executive Conference Director for SCOPE Summit (Summit for Clinical Ops Executives) at Cambridge Innovation Institute. We will dive deep into the critical role of collaboration within the clinical research ecosystem. How do we bring together diverse stakeholders—sponsors, CROs, clinical trial tech innovators, suppliers, patients, sites, advocacy organizations, investors, and non-profits—to share best practices in trial design, program planning, innovation, and clinical operations? We’ll explore why it’s vital for thought leaders to step beyond their own organizations and learn from others, exchanging ideas that drive advancements in clinical research. Additionally, we’ll discuss the pivotal role of scientific conferences like SCOPE Summit in fostering these essential connections and collaborations, helping shape the future of clinical trials. Join us as we uncover how collective wisdom and cross-industry partnerships are transforming the landscape of clinical research.
