David E. Albert, MD

David E. Albert, MD, an Oklahoma native, is a physician, inventor and serial entrepreneur who has developed life-saving technologies and products over the last 30 years, turning a number of those innovations into tech startups. Today, he is a founder of three technology companies, InnovAlarm, Lifetone Technology, and AliveCor. His previous startups include Corazonix Corp (sold to Arrhythmia Research Technology) and Data Critical (sold to GE). Dr. Albert left GE in 2004 as Chief Scientist of GE Cardiology to disrupt several new markets. His latest invention, AliveCor’s KardiaMobile personal ECG technology, became a global sensation via a YouTube Video in January 2011 around the Consumer Electronics Show and was featured on ABC, CBS, CNN and Fox News among many other media outlets. Dr. Albert has 32 issued US patents, a large number pending and several new “secret inventions” in development. He has authored or co-authored over 50 scientific abstracts and publications, principally in the cardiology literature. Dr. Albert has lectured at the Entrepreneurship programs at the MIT Sloan School and the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Albert graduated with Honors from Harvard College and from Duke University Medical School.

Dr. Todd Rudo

Dr. Todd Rudo is EVP and Chief Medical Officer at Clario, providing medical and scientific leadership across the organization. He has nearly 20 years of clinical cardiology and pharmaceutical research experience, with a career predominantly focused on drug safety.

Dr. Rudo has board certifications in cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, nuclear cardiology, adult echocardiography and internal medicine. His team provides expert consulting to clients on scientific and regulatory strategy, and ensures Clario’s product portfolio is scientifically robust, generating high quality clinical trial endpoint data. Dr. Rudo has a particular interest in applying innovative technologies to improve the scientific rigor of clinical trials, while maintaining focus on the customer experience, including minimizing patient and site burden.

David is an experienced pharmaceutical executive with more than 25 years in sales, marketing and operational leadership roles with several of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies, including GSK, BMS, Bayer and Eisai. After working across several therapeutic areas including neurology, mental illness, cardiology and 15+ years in oncology, David joined AliveCor from Novartis Oncology, where he was responsible for developing innovative digital solutions through strategic partnerships with startups, including AliveCor. As the VP of Global BioPharma Partnerships, David works closely with Pharma clients to develop clinical trial and focused solutions to enable brand growth and improve patient access worldwide.

Mark Matson

Mark is in his 30th year of drug development and is an SME in the use of Digital Health Technologies in clinical research. He holds a BS in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a Master’s in Business and has held positions in research, manufacturing, portfolio management, and business development in large pharma, biotech, CRO, and technology companies.
