ERT (Philadelphia, PA) announced that Jim Corrigan, who has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since August 2013, will assume the role as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, as well as a member of the board.

Worldwide Clinical Trials (King of Prussia, PA) announced Peter S. Benton, MBA, has joined as President and Chief Operating Officer.

CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services (Cincinnati, OH) announced the following new hires: Pavels Anetko, MD, Operations Manager, Pac-Asia; Jeff Barbian, Research Associate; Wolfgang Billig Clinical Project Manager, Europe; Lisa Campbell, Senior Study Coordinator; Carrie Carpenter, Assistant Director, Clinical Monitoring; Brooke Hollenbach, Research Associate; Cassie Lampe, Study Coordinator; Jenna Nott, Regulatory Specialist II. CTI also announced the following promotions: Jordan Jemison to Study Coordinator; Andrew Schildknecht to Study Coordinator; Michelle Vermillion to Study Manager; Katie Westerkamp to Assistant Study Manager; and Kathryn Wekselman, PhD, RN to Senior Director, Regulatory and Scientific Affairs.

Relmada Therapeutics, Inc. (New York, NY) announced that it has appointed Christopher W. James to the position of Senior Director of Clinical Development.

Boyds (Cheshire and Cambridgeshire, UK) announced the appointment of Julie Warner, PhD, as Associate Director in the Regulatory Affairs team.

Novella Clinical (Research Triangle Park, NC) announced the appointment of Deepak Dhami, PhD, as Director of Clinical Monitoring for Europe.  

Almac (Craigavon, Northern Ireland) announced the creation of two key positions. Matt Cocking joined as Market Development Director for their Clinical Technologies business unit, and Laura Montgomery was appointed to position of Senior Market Insight Director.

CSSi (Glen Burnie, MD) announced the recent appointment of two new hires: Greg Fleming as Director of Business Development and Gemma Groppi as Senior Global Project Manager.

INC Research (Raleigh, NC) recently promoted Patrick Melvin to Vice President of Oncology and Hematology. The company also announced the appointment of Clare Grace as Vice President, Site & Patient Access.

Accelovance, Inc. (Rockville, MD) announced that Joseph D. Purvis, MD, has joined the company as Vice President Medical Affairs, Oncology.

Karolinska Development (Stockholm, Sweden) announced that Bruno Lucidi has been appointed as permanent CEO, following the departure of CEO Torbjörn Bjerke. He replaces Klaus Wilgenbus, who was serving as the interim CEO.

WIRB-Copernicus Group (WCG) (Princeton, NJ) announced today that Lindsay McNair, MD, MPH, MSB, has been promoted to Chief Medical Officer.

CRF Health (Plymouth Meeting, PA) announced that Sarah Dixon has been appointed as the company's Vice President of Human Resources.

Aptuit LLC (Greenwich, CT) announced the appointment of Manuela Leone, MD, as Executive Vice President, Operations and General Manager of the Aptuit Center for Drug Discovery & Development in Verona, Italy.

ERT (Philadelphia, PA) announced the appointment of Ron Sullivan to the position of Executive Vice President and Product Line Executive for electronic Clinical Outcome Assessments (eCOA).

ACM Global Central Laboratory, (Rochester, NY) a diagnostic central laboratory delivering high-quality testing services that optimize clinical trial outcomes, announced the appointment of Peng Zhang, MD, PhD, as Laboratory Manager at its newly opened lab facility in Shanghai.

Almac (Craigavon, Northern Ireland) announced the company has been named as a National Champion in the “UKTI Award for Innovation” category in this year’s European Business Awards—a competition supported by businesses leaders, academics, media and political representatives from across Europe. The annual award, sponsored by RSM International is now in its eighth year and, with 33 countries represented, is Europe’s largest and most significant cross-sector business recognition program designed to promote excellence, best practice and innovation. 

Icon, plc (Dublin, Ireland) announced that Cynthia Dukes, VP, Global Project Management, Vaccines, Infectious Disease, Women’s Health & Primary Care, has been voted one of the 50 Most Influential People in Vaccines following a global industry survey conducted by vaccine industry organization, VaccineNation. Cynthia was the only CRO representative included in the list.

BioClinica, Inc. (Newtown, PA) announced that its Compass technology, a risk-based monitoring solution that improves overall quality in clinical trials, has won the inaugural Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM) NextGen Technology Innovation (TIA) Award, presented as part of SCDM’s 2014 annual conference.

Quintiles (Research Triangle Park, NC) announced that the company was awarded the Society for Clinical Research Sites’ (SCRS) 2014 Clinical Research Organization (CRO) Eagle Award. The award, which recognizes outstanding leadership, professionalism, integrity, passion and dedication, was presented during the annual SCRS Site Solutions Summit.

CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services (CTI) (Cincinnati, OH) announced that is has opened an office in San Francisco, California. This is the company’s fifth new office opened this year, with several more expected to be announced in the next 12-18 months.

ACM Global Central Laboratory (Rochester, NY) announced that Mary Williamson, MT (ASCP), PhD, Vice President, Scientific Affairs and Laboratory Operations, has led the effort to publish a revised and updated version of the well-known Wallach’s Interpretation of Diagnostic Tests textbook.

ClinTec International and Edinburgh Napier University (Glasgow and Edinburgh, Scotland) announced that the Asia Training Consortium has endorsed the Masters in International Clinical Research and Technology for clinical research professionals.

MedNet Solutions (Minnetonka, MN) announced that iMedNet EDC, the company's cloud-based eClinical technology platform, has been selected as the 2014 Healthcare Product of the Year by the Business Intelligence Group. 

CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services (CTI), (Cincinnati, OH) a global, privately held, full-service contract research organization announced that Community Research, acquired by CTI earlier this year, will change its name to CTI Clinical Research Center (CTI CRC).
